How to Set Up Your ADI Portal
Create your free ADI account
Visit swappy.uk and sign up as an ADI. Select 'I'm a Driving Instructor' during registration.
Complete your ADI profile
Add your badge number and business name. This verifies you as a qualified ADI.
Invite your pupils
Enter each pupil's email address to send them an invite. They'll be linked to your portal immediately.
Set your availability
Configure your blackout dates, weekly hours, and per-pupil readiness windows.
You're in control
Any swap your pupils attempt will respect your settings automatically — no manual approval needed.
Frequently Asked Questions for ADIs
Does my pupil need a paid Swappy account?
No — pupils can use Swappy for free. They can list their test and browse at one centre at no cost. Premium is optional for them if they want 3-way calling or to browse multiple centres.
Can I see what my pupil is doing on the platform?
You can see their test listing, any swap proposals, and when a swap is completed. You can't see private messages between them and other learners.
What happens if a pupil ignores my blackout dates?
They can't — the platform enforces your blackout dates. Any swap they attempt on a blocked date will not be visible to them.
Can I be connected to pupils from different schools?
Yes — there's no limit on the number of pupils you can manage, and they don't all need to be from the same driving school.
What if I share a car with another instructor?
You can coordinate blackout dates with the other instructor separately. There's currently no joint car-sharing calendar, but setting each other's lesson days as blackouts works effectively.
