On Swappy, You Stay Anonymous Until You Choose Otherwise

From first listing to confirmed swap, here's how little of yourself you actually reveal.

Your public footprint: four things

A display name you pick, your test date, time, and centre. That's the entirety of what the Swappy community can see about you. No photo, no surname, no town beyond the centre itself.

Negotiation happens under display names

Proposing a swap, agreeing who calls DVSA, picking a call time — all of it runs through Swappy's built-in messaging. Neither side ever needs the other's phone number or email to get a swap done.

Mutual-consent contact sharing

If both learners would rather coordinate directly, each can switch on contact sharing. Details are exchanged only when both toggles are on — one-sided curiosity reveals nothing.

The only identity check is DVSA's

When the call happens, you verify your booking with DVSA's agent — not with your partner, not with Swappy. Anonymity on the platform, verification with the authority: exactly the right way round.

Swap your test the safe, official way

Only your test date, time and centre are needed — no personal details, no bots, just the official DVSA phone line.
