Never stored
- Driving licence number
- DVSA booking reference
- Home address
- Date of birth
- Identity documents
- Payment card details (Stripe handles all payments)
Why the "never stored" list is possible
Because every booking change is made by DVSA staff on their official phone line, Swappy never needs booking credentials. And because Stripe processes payments end-to-end, card numbers never touch Swappy's servers. The platform's data footprint is deliberately smaller than a typical online shop's.
And it's all deletable
Everything in the "stored" list is removed when you delete your account from Settings — along with automatic cancellation of any subscription, so leaving is clean and final.
