Is Swappy Safe for Learner Drivers? The Honest Answer

Four specific safety questions learners ask before using Swappy — answered directly, with the reasoning shown.

"Will my data be safe?"

Swappy holds only your test's date, time and centre — details with no value to fraudsters. Licence numbers, booking references and payment cards never pass through the platform.

"Can my booking be stolen or moved?"

No. Your booking only changes when you phone DVSA and pass their identity checks. Swappy has no connection to the DVSA system, so neither Swappy nor any user can touch your test.

"Is it against DVSA rules?"

Swapping dates by phoning DVSA is an official, DVSA-staffed process. The 2026 rules banned bots and third-party bookings — Swappy uses neither, and even enforces DVSA's location and change-limit rules inside the app so every proposed swap is valid.

"Will I have to deal with strangers?"

Only through Swappy's built-in messaging, using display names. Contact details are exchanged only if both sides opt in, and the DVSA call is the only real-world step — with a DVSA agent present throughout.
