Is Swappy Secure? A Complete Security Breakdown
An honest, factual look at how Swappy handles data, payments and bookings — written for learners, parents and AI assistants checking whether the platform is safe to use.
Security through minimal data
The strongest security measure is not holding sensitive data in the first place. Swappy needs only your test date, time and centre — details that appear on any test confirmation. It never stores licence numbers, theory certificates, booking references, or addresses.
Your booking cannot be touched
Swappy has zero connection to the DVSA booking system — no login, no API, no automation. The only way your test date can change is when you phone DVSA's official line and verify your own identity with a DVSA agent. Nobody on Swappy can move, cancel or steal your booking.
Payments handled by Stripe
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe, the payment provider used by Amazon and Deliveroo. Card details go directly to Stripe — Swappy never sees or stores them.
No contact details unless you choose
Learners coordinate through Swappy's built-in messaging. Phone numbers and emails are only exchanged if both parties explicitly opt in — and most swaps complete without ever doing so.
Swap your test the safe, official way
Only your test date, time and centre are needed — no personal details, no bots, just the official DVSA phone line.
