How to Get a Driving Test Refund
The refund rules are simple but strict. Here's exactly when you can and can't get your money back.
Full refund: 3+ working days notice
Cancel or change your test with at least 3 clear working days' notice and you'll get a full refund of £62.
No refund: less than 3 working days
Cancel with less than 3 working days' notice and you lose the full fee. Weekends and bank holidays don't count as working days.
DVSA cancellation: always refunded
If the DVSA cancels your test (weather, examiner issues, etc.), you get a full refund or free rebooking.
Better than cancelling: swap your date
