Can You Book Two Driving Tests at Once?
No — the DVSA only allows one active practical test booking per person. Here's what you can do instead.
One booking per person
The DVSA system prevents duplicate bookings. Even if you try different centres, the system will reject a second booking linked to your licence number.
From May 2026: even stricter
New rules mean only you can manage your booking (no instructors), and you're limited to 2 amendments per booking. Swapping dates with another learner doesn't count as an amendment.
What you CAN do
Book your test, then swap the date with another learner on Swappy
Change your test date or centre (up to 2 times from March 2026)
Cancel and rebook at a different centre if needed
